I have now completed the births and marriages from 1837 up to 1901 for Vicary and Vickery and several other spellings. Just a handful that I am unable to complete which are mainly registry office marriages where the marriage certificate is not available on line.
I have reviewed the Vicary 1901 census entries to make sure they are as complete as possible and now started entering the Vickery 1901 census onto my database,. There are over 3000 of them so it will take quite a while; especially as I am including birth place and occupations.
If you have ancestors living in UK at that time please let me have details and I will expedite your family and send you the outcome.
Have you considered joining the Vicary/Vickery DNA group. If you are then just let me know and I will send you the link to enable your DNA result to be uploaded where it can be compared with all the other members DNA for potential matches.. We currently have 48 members and your result can also be uploaded onto the Devon group which currently has 1366 members.
Finally if you do have Vicary/Vickery forebears I would love to hear from you, and remember to visit the web site vicary.one-name.net
